UPI payments

UPI at booking, not after the session

The client pays by UPI the moment they book, through your own Razorpay account, and the payment attaches itself to the booking. No pasted links, no screenshot reconciliation, and zero commission from operate1 on every plan.

14 days of Pro free, no card and no call. After that $19 a month flat, one price for the whole practice, or stay on the free tier.

This is the state that removes the month-end reconciliation: paid, attached to the booking, settled to your own account. The rail is your Razorpay; we never sit in the money path.

Sample data. Made-up names and a made-up week, not a customer.

    What you use today

Today UPI is a QR photo and a gallery full of screenshots

The rail is instant. The bookkeeping around it is medieval: a static QR forwarded one client at a time, screenshots arriving at odd hours, and a first-of-the-month evening matching payments to names.

    30 to 50

    Screenshots to match monthly

    all of them

    Payments with no booking attached

    1 or 2

    Evenings lost to reconciliation

None of this is UPI's fault. The rail is world class; what is missing is the record on the other side of it.

    How it works

    Step 1

    Connect your own Razorpay

Your account, your KYC, your settlement. operate1 creates the payment against the booking and verifies it; the money never routes through us.

    Step 2

The client pays inside the booking

UPI, cards or net banking at the moment of booking. The slot confirms when the payment verifies, so a held slot is a paid slot.

    Step 3

    Reconciliation stops existing

Every payment is born attached to its booking and its client. The month-end evening with the gallery and the spreadsheet simply has no work left.

    Competitor reality

What the market charges around the payment

The pattern in Indian practice software is a subscription plus meters: SMS bundles, communication credits, call-credit wallets. Our position is simpler: the gateway charges its fee, and we charge nothing per transaction.

    Jaldee Bookings

    Published
    Their price, their terms
Published at Rs 4,999 per year for Premium, billed annually, including 1,000 SMS and 10 GB. The mobile app is a separate add-on at Rs 4,999 per year, WhatsApp utility credits are Rs 599 per thousand and marketing credits Rs 999 per thousand.
Where it falls short for you
The headline price is rarely the paid price once add-ons and credit packs are counted. Payment collection is not the design centre; queues and tokens are.

    Practo Ray Connect

    Published
    Their price, their terms
Rs 1,499 per month on a one-year term for 1,000 call credits, Rs 1,249 on two years, Rs 999 on three years or more, against a Rs 2,999 list price.
Where it falls short for you
A wallet whose unit price improves only with a longer contract. It is a clean picture of the category's instinct: put a meter on the workflow and sell refills.

    Eka Care

    Published
    Their price, their terms
Eka Doc Plus at Rs 16,999 per year plus 18 percent GST, including ABDM and ABHA linking, a Google Reserve integration, WhatsApp, and 200 free teleconsult minutes.
Where it falls short for you
A clinical suite priced for doctors, with real ABDM depth we do not have. If you are a trainer, tutor or stylist wanting paid bookings over UPI, you are buying a hospital corridor to walk one room.

Every figure above is what the vendor themselves publish, or is marked as coming from a third party, and the vendors named are the ones a practice like yours would actually shortlist. Much of this category quotes per seat and bills the year upfront, so compare the cash you hand over on day one, not the sticker. Research recorded 4 August 2026. Prices move. Check the vendor's own page before you decide, and if their tool fits you better, buy theirs.

    What you are probably thinking

Do you take a cut of my payments?

No. Zero commission on every plan, including Free. You pay your payment gateway's own processing fee, which goes to the gateway, and our flat subscription. There is no per-booking charge and no percentage anywhere in our pricing.

    Whose Razorpay account is it?

Yours. Your KYC, your bank, your settlement schedule. operate1 creates and verifies payments against bookings through your account; if you leave operate1, your Razorpay and its history remain yours.

What about clients paying from abroad?

International cards run through Stripe alongside Razorpay for domestic UPI, cards and net banking. An NRI client books and pays like anyone else.

Can I still take cash or pay-at-visit?

Yes. Advance payment is per service, not a rule. We recommend it because it is what fixes no-shows, but you can offer unpaid booking on any service and settle in person.

Payments capability that is not built yet

UPI, cards and net banking at booking through your own accounts are shipped. These are not:

    • Partial deposits. A booking collects the full service price; a configurable deposit amount is on the roadmap.
    • GST invoice generation. Payments are recorded; tax invoices are not produced by operate1.
    • Refund flows inside the app. Refunds are made from your gateway dashboard today.
    • Cashfree and PhonePe as alternative gateways. Razorpay and Stripe today.

    Make paid the default state

Connect Razorpay, put one service on your page, and take one real UPI payment at booking. The first week without a screenshot to chase is the argument.

What you are risking on Pro

14 days free, no card. After that $19 a month flat. Billed monthly, so the most you can ever be out of pocket is one month.

Cancel yourself in the app. No retention call, no email chain, no notice period. One-click full export is being built now. Until it lands, ask us and we send you every record we hold, in a format you can open.

Subscription fees are not refundable, so if you are unsure, stay on monthly rather than prepaying the year. Cancelling stops the next charge and your plan runs to the end of the period you paid for.

Being straight about the limit: the 14-Day Move Guarantee, where we move your records for you or your next three months are free, is on Business, not Pro. On Pro you do the import yourself.
