Your diary knows the slot. It forgot the client
Booking apps answer when. A salon CRM answers who: what she had done last visit, the formula that worked, what she spends a year, and the allergy flag that must never be missed. operate1 is the booking page and the client book in one login.
Free plan, no card and no call. One flat monthly price when you upgrade, zero commission on payments, cancel yourself in the app.

Who this is for
Written for the way salon crm actually run
- Salons that outgrew the diary but do not want two more subscriptions
- Owners who lose the client history every time a stylist leaves
- Salons where the same client exists in four places, none complete
- Anyone comparing salon CRM software against another booking app
What operate1 replaces
A booking tool, a payment link, a client spreadsheet and a reminders routine, folded into one account at one flat monthly price.
Zero commission on every plan. You connect your own payment account and the money settles to you; we charge the subscription and nothing else.
Three things that go wrong every week
When a stylist resigns, her clients' formulas, preferences and rapport walk out with her, because the salon never owned the record.
The record belongs to the salon's account. Formulas, notes and history stay when staff change, and the next stylist opens the record instead of starting from hello.
You cannot see who your best clients actually are. The woman who comes monthly and never haggles is treated the same as a first-timer.
Every visit and payment accrues to the record, so total spend and visit history per client are numbers you can read, not impressions you carry.
Client details are scattered across the diary, a phone's contacts, chat threads and memory. Nothing is complete and nothing is searchable.
One record per client with contact details, visit history, payments, intake answers and your notes. Searchable, exportable, and in one place.
How it works
How a booking runs here
Every booking writes the record
A booking is not just a slot. The service, the payment and the date land on the client's record automatically.
Notes go where you will find them
Colour formulas, patch tests, the thing she mentioned about her wedding. Typed once, attached to the person, found in seconds.
Intake answers attach themselves
Allergy and preference forms filled before the visit land on the record, not in an inbox.
The numbers surface
Spend per client, visits per month, which services bring people back. Read from real bookings, not typed into a spreadsheet.
What you get on day one
A record the salon owns
History, formulas, flags and contact details that survive staff changes and phone changes alike.
Intake forms built in
Collect allergies, preferences and consent before the visit. Answers file themselves on the record.
Spend and frequency per client
See who your regulars really are and what a client is worth over a year, from real payment data.
The diary is included
This is not a CRM bolted onto someone else's booking tool. Bookings, payments and records are one product.
Payments on the same record
What she paid, when, for what. Attached to the client, with zero operate1 commission on any plan.
Yours to export, always
Your client data belongs to you. Ask and we provide every record we hold in a format you can open.
Not built yet, named plainly
CRM capability that is not built yet, named plainly.
- Marketing campaigns, bulk messages and win-back automations. The record exists; outbound marketing tools do not.
- Birthday and anniversary triggers. Not built.
- Photo attachments on records for before-and-after shots. Notes are text today.
- Loyalty points. Not built.
Questions salon crm ask us
How is this different from a booking app with a client list?
A client list stores phone numbers. A record accumulates history: every visit, payment, note and intake answer against one person, owned by the salon account rather than by whoever's phone took the booking.
Can I import my existing client list?
On Business, we do it for you: send your records in whatever shape they are in, Excel, Sheets or an export, and we move them in as part of setup. On other plans you add clients yourself as they book.
Can I message all my clients from the CRM?
Not yet. operate1 sends transactional email, confirmations and reminders. Bulk marketing messages and campaigns are not built, and we would rather say so than sell you a half-feature.
Who owns the client data?
You do. It sits in your account, staff access is role-based, and you can export everything or delete the account yourself. We are the software, not a marketplace that owns your book.
