For psychologists, counsellors and therapists in private practice

Run the practice so you can run the session

For psychologists and counsellors in private practice. Clients book a session and pay online, consent and intake are collected before the first appointment, and your session notes sit on a record with role-based access instead of a notebook anyone could open.

Free plan, no card and no call. One flat monthly price when you upgrade, zero commission on payments, cancel yourself in the app.

    Who this is for

Written for the way psychologists and counsellors actually run

    • Solo psychologists and counsellors running their own practice
    • Small group practices sharing rooms and an admin between them
    • Therapists tired of scheduling sessions over late-night messages
    • Practices where cancellations arrive an hour before the slot

    What operate1 replaces

A booking tool, a payment link, a client spreadsheet and a reminders routine, folded into one account at one flat monthly price.

Zero commission on every plan. You connect your own payment account and the money settles to you; we charge the subscription and nothing else.

Three things that go wrong every week

Intake and consent happen in the first session, which eats twenty minutes of paid time and leaves the signed form loose in a drawer or a photo roll.

Intake forms go out before the first appointment. Consent, presenting concerns and emergency contact come back as answers that attach to the client's record, so session one starts as a session, not paperwork.

A cancelled 5 pm slot at 4 pm is an hour of income gone, and chasing a cancellation fee over chat feels wrong in a therapeutic relationship.

Sessions are paid at booking, and your cancellation window and fee percentage are published on the page and applied automatically. The policy does the asking, so the relationship never has to.

Client notes are sensitive, and a shared spreadsheet or a paper file gives everyone in the practice the same access to everything.

Notes live on the client's record inside your account, and access is role-based, so you decide who on the team can open clinical notes and who only sees the diary. These are access controls, not a compliance certificate, and we say that plainly.

    How it works

    How a booking runs here

    1. The client finds a calm booking page

Your session types with duration and fee at your own link, or on your own domain on Pro. A 50 minute individual session and a 90 minute couples session are separate services with separate prices.

    2. Intake and consent before session one

The client fills your intake form, including consent capture, before they arrive. Answers land on their record, not in an inbox.

    3. Payment confirms the session

UPI, card or net banking through your own Razorpay account, international cards through Stripe. The slot holds when payment clears, and operate1 takes zero commission.

    4. Notes and history stay on the record

Every session, payment and note accumulates on one record per client. Email reminders at 24 hours and 2 hours reduce the forgotten sessions.

What you get on day one

Consent and intake, before the chair

Build your intake once, including consent capture. Clients complete it before the first session and the answers file themselves on the record.

    Role-based access to notes

You control which team members can read clinical notes and which only see the schedule. Access tools, stated as tools, with no compliance claims attached.

    One record per client

Sessions, payments, intake answers and your notes against one person, searchable when you need it and exportable on request.

    Paid sessions, quiet policy

Payment at booking through your own gateway account, with a published cancellation window and fee that apply themselves.

    Session types with honest lengths

Individual, couples, assessment and follow-up sessions each carry their own duration, fee and buffer so sessions never stack without a break.

Reminders you never send by hand

Automatic email reminders at 24 hours and 2 hours before each session, unmetered on every plan.

    Not built yet, named plainly

Things therapists ask us for that are not built yet. We would rather you read this here than discover it mid-practice.

    • In-product video sessions or automatic Zoom and Meet links. Not built. Many therapists paste their own meeting link into the service description, which works, but it is a workaround rather than a feature.
    • A clinical EMR with structured case histories, diagnoses or treatment plans. Records hold notes, forms, sessions and payments; they are not an EMR.
    • HIPAA, GDPR or DPDP compliance certification. We give you consent capture, role-based access and data export, which are tools. We do not claim a compliance outcome or end-to-end encryption.
    • WhatsApp reminders and Google Calendar sync. Reminders are email today; both are on the roadmap.

Questions psychologists and counsellors ask us

Can I collect signed consent before the first session?

Yes. Consent capture is part of your intake form, the client completes it before they arrive, and the answer sits on their record with a timestamp instead of in a drawer.

Who can see my session notes?

Whoever you allow. Access is role-based per team member, so a practice admin can manage the diary without opening clinical notes. This is an access control, not a compliance certification, and we state that honestly.

Do you support online therapy sessions?

Not in the product. There is no built-in video and no automatic meeting links. Some therapists put their own Zoom or Meet link in the service description so paid bookings still carry the joining details, but that is a workaround.

What happens when a client cancels late?

Your published policy happens. You set a cancellation window and a fee percentage once, both appear on the booking page, and the fee is applied automatically to the paid booking, so you never have to raise it in a session.
